Can a single parent earn more if hired for the same job as a non single parent? And if so or not why?

No, but if you think this is going on look at experience (years in similar jobs) or more years in school in this field before considering a complaint.

ballengerb1 agrees: yep, it isn't always a level playing field. Experienced employees can be paid at a higher rate.
