| Hi, Harsha Manjula!
Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.
We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.
Concerning your question though, what exactly do you mean by a service period request letter?
Thanks! |

| Hello again, Harsha Manjula!
You are the one who knows the specifics to what you are needing. None of us here know the specifics.
If you would post a draft of your letter here, then I or some others would be glad to critique and edit it in order to make it the best that it could be.
Thanks! |

| Hi, Harsha Manjula!
Some questions that need to be answered in helping you with your letter the best.
Do you know the name of the Human Resources Manager? If so, you don't need to put it here, it's just important that I know that you know that person's name or not. Is it a he or a she?
What does EPF and EDI mean?
Just for clarification, is the service period the amount of time that you have worked for the company?
What is the purpose of requesting this kind of letter from the Human Resources Manager, please? That's probably the most important question of all here. Is this a letter of recommendation that you are requesting?
Thanks! |

| Here is a sample letter for you. It could be tailored to fit your needs.
Subject: Request of Service Period Letter and Recommendation
Dear Mr. Samantha,
Please accept this correspondence as a request for the confirmation in writing of the time that I have been in service to this company as well as for a recommendation also in writing, for the services that I have performed.
(Concerning the admission for your son to a school, it would help to have additional information from you as to what that is concerning.)
The way that I have begun this letter, is a standard and professional way to start such letters.
Thanks! |
