    Are Pepper Seeds Poisonous?
Can anyone tell me if pepper (as in the red / green / yellow / orange variety) seeds are poisonous?

I've been told it by a couple of people but I'm not sure whether to believe them or not!

Actually people, I spent most of Friday night shaking, throwing up and having hot flushes because I put green pepper seeds in a curry (I had never used pepper before).. I felt totally awful so I wouldn't suggest eating them.

That may have been an allergic reaction, or maybe from something else you ingested.

Could have been, but everything else I'd eaten I'd had before. I had heard they were poisonous so maybe they are to some people.

Someone's having a good ole time with you, I grown them out in my garden during the summer months have ate some right on the spot not exactly cleaning out every seed, and nothings happed to me, I ate apple seeds as a kid and never grew a apple tree out my belly button (like someone told me!)
