Hi, Jacky450!

That would depend on what you wanted the locksmith to do. What would you want the locksmith to do, please?

Thanks!

1. Use a spare key.
2. Look for an unlocked or open window or door.
3. Call your spouse if he/she has a key.
4. Break a window.

Actually the number 2 answer is to call a locksmith. The first choice is to see if anyone living with you can come and let you in. But after that you call a locksmith.

Of course you will need to prove this is your home. We are also assuming here that you got locked out by accident, not deliberately.

I merged your threads, please don't start multiple threads with the same issue.

As to finding a locksmith, use the Yellow pages, call around for price quotes. ask neighbors for recommendations. Basically the same thing you would do to find any service provider.
