program sears keyless garage door opener

I have a sears model #139.53684 how do I program it to open garage door. I need to put in a new code the original code was lost

Hello,
I will need to ask you some more questions. How old is the keyless entry? Does it light up when you press any buttons? What type of battery does it have? How old is the machine hanging from the ceiling? Is it a Craftsman opener? Does it have a block of switches on a circuit board near the back of the opener? Do you see any red, green or purple square buttons? How about yellow, white, green circular buttons? What colour antennae does it have? You might have to remove possibly a light cover. Do not remove any screws. May sound sort of daunting. It is an easy fix but with out seeing it you have to be my eyes!You could also send me some photos if you wish.
