Gas fireplace
My gas fireplace has a water leak from the exterior wall. Is this a safety hazard? How do you fix it?

Need more details and maybe a picture. Is this a prefab firebox and what is the exterior finish outside the house. Probably not a safety hazard but can turn into one if not fixed.
