Why does my TV not recognize my dvd player
Okay. I had my TV and dvd player working one night the next night I went to use it, it wouldn't play so I figure my dvd player was dead. Went and bought another dvd player and my TV still won't play it. Its like its not sensing the cables are plugged into the TV. The TV brand is an emerson. Please help!? Its like a setting on the TV or something is wrong

You had to connect the video player to the TV. Look where you plugged in the cables. It should say like... AUX 1 or Vid 1. Turn your TV on and hit the INPUT button until the name of where you connected the cables is seen.
