Connecting JVC DVD/VCR to Sony Bravia HD TV
Sorry if this question has been asked previously, but I would like to know how to connect my JVC combo DVD/VCR unit to my Sony 32in Bravia HD TV. As it is now, I cannot view the VCR portion (using "video 1") channel. I can hear the VCR but cannot "see" any picture (snow). Thanks for any assistance - DocB

Here's the Manual, Try a different input/cable type:

Take a look at page 13 and 14.

That portion of page 13 that indicates side screen connections looks like the key to the problem. I'll try that when I get home, thanks.DocB

Just need to be sur you have a good video out, then you need a good cable and hook to a known good input, and be selected on correct input.
Using S- video? Composite, component? What are you currently trying?

I just got a Sony Bravia and hooked it up to a Denon S-301 using an HDMI cable, and got nothing. Is there some sort of "intelligent search" for components on either the Denon or Sony? If not, how do I get them to recognize each other? Thanks
