pioneer super tuner beeping

hi, i have a pioneer super tuner 3 in my truck and two days ago it started beeping every few minutes. at 1st it sounded like when your smoke detector batteries are low, a quick high pitched beep, and now it's gotten louder and longer. it even does it when it's turned off. any help would be great. it's driving me nuts!! thanks

Are you sure it's from the tuner, and not some other alarm in your truck?
