How to Connect external speakers to Sony LED Bravia TV

I have Sony music system speakers which I want to connect to the new Sony Bravia LED TV.Now the problem is the wires from my Speakers do not have a pin. It is just a wire. How do I connect these? They are excellent speakers.

You can go to an electronics parts store and either purchase an RCA plug which you can wire yourself, or get a speaker plug with a wired RCA on one end, and unattached wire on the other. Then you join the wires together, wrapping them up using electrical tape.

I forget if it is line level and needs an amp, many have a choice for the output to be fixed or variable in the menu?

You will need to get an amplifier. You cannot connect speakers directly to your TV. Even if you do modify the ends to be RCA.
