You should have 12 volts to coil when key is turned on, in a points setup, when the points open up, capacitor discharges and coil fires.
What is your Primary and Secondary Coil Resistance?
4 Bad Coil wires and you changed the Plug once? Do you mean Plugs, or does this plug have 4 wires?
Edit, I just noticed you are using the Number 4 for the word "for"? Disreguard anything I said on this and your other post concerning 4 wires.
