Directions for connecting a dvd, tv, vcr to DirectTv

Hello! I need some instructions please, on how to hook-up my dvd player, vcr, (the vcr and dvd are NOT a combo), to my tv and DirectTv.
Thank you very much

You could start with hooking the out of the Direct TV to an input on the TV.
VCR to an unused input.
DVD to an unused input.
Then, if you were using the VCR to record, then output of source to input of Recorder.
You may not have several inputs, and DVD may not have coax out, and TV may only have Coax in, then you get a Modulator to convert the DVD's S-Video or Composite Video to Channel 3 or 4(selectable).

I've had several missunderstandings/mistakes and has destroyed my rating, it doesn't matter.
Take Care
That is a great site, in color, and pictures, save a lot of time explaining.
