Stuffing envelopes at home

Every once in a while, I see ads asking for home workers needed to stuff envelopes at home. Are any of these legitimate? If any of them are, which specific companies are? I see that some ask for money while others do not. I would love to be able to do something like this in order to bring in a little bit more income so that I can save for going on vacations and for other little luxuries that I find difficulty saving for. Any advice would be helpful.

Mom of 2 agrees: THANK YOU!!! I was in a debate with someone who was thinking about doing this and now I can print out the article for them!!! I am a true believer that if it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is!!!

Yes, this sadly was one scam that I personally got caught up in many many years ago. After a visit to my home from the Postal Inspectors and the local police, I decided it may not be a good thing to continue
