Legitimate Wholesaler or Manufacturer

Hi there,

I am trying to sell products on ebay. I have everything set to go and have wasted too much money on dropshippers who were just middlemen. After I paid over 1500.00 already on them lying to me I am fed up. I have my sellers permit now in California. How do I locate true wholesalers that will sell merchandise at the wholesale price so I can sell it myself retail online. The ones that are listed on the internet are middlemen. I see so many great prices (new items) on ebay and with the dropship price I get it for, I can't possibly make any money. Now, those people on e-bay must get their merchandise from a supplier that sells wholesale or something in order to sell it so cheap. Please help. I like to sell books, electronics and Health & Beauty supplies. Thanks

You could try googling "wholesale X" or "discount X" where X=books, electronics, or beauty. Before I'd buy bulk from anyone, I'd google their name and check at complaints.com and with the BBB to see if there are complaints about them. I'd also read the fine print in their service agreement.

If you contact a large publisher, electronics manufacturer, or beauty product manufacturer direct , chances are you will not be given the time of day because you're an unknown. And many of the biggies have their own eBay presence. Think Long Tail: go to the small specialty publisher or specialty manufacturer and offer to be their eBay connection on a trial basis. There are many smaller makers of "organic" and "all-natural" beauty products out there, for example, that might like an eBay outlet but probably don't know how to go about creating one or don't have the time to do so.

Finally, you might go to local businesses (not large chains) and offer to partner with them to sell their product on eBay. One of my coworker's brother in law lost his job and set up a business selling some kind of heavy equipment (I think farming related) on eBay this way. He's now supporting himself with this business.

also remember that to get wholesale, real wholesale there is often min opening orders, for example with one company we deal with the order had to be 15,000 to start an account, and often even with those that have wholesale prices that do not require min what they have is levels of prices, if you buy one item it will be a certain price if you buy 100 it is alot cheaper.

For books, you will have to deal directly with publishing houses to get real wholesale on electronics, nomally you will deal with an importer, not the manufactor

Go to a credible site called payjusthalf.com and register. Use the agent code LC37172. You will find great prices and you can purchase one item at a time or get bigger discounts by purchasing larger amounts. Let me know when you have checked tis out. Thanks, Boxblade22
