If the personal service business involves taking people to appts. etc. then yes you do need both to cover the liability of someone being in your vehicle, and if you are going to be staying in peoples homes, then you need to be bonded.

This is how I interpret Personal Service Business. As I work in healthcare attending people in their homes for long periods of time as in respits, then I had to be bonded. I dont have clients in my car, it isnt allowed.

Hi, deeschiavelli!

What specifically do you mean by "home based personal service business", please?

Seems to me, that the name and meaning of that kind of service is "up for grabs".

Thanks!
