Hi, 03rahni!

I'm going to answer under the assumption that you are going to be working without having any employers and also operating out of your home. Is that your situation? If you're going to be operating out of a store front of some kind and having employees, then that creates an entirely different scenario as to what type of licensure might be needed.
There are some things that a handyman can do where they would normally need to be licensed for the specific types of work, such as electrical and plumbing.

One of the things that I do for a living, is that I'm a handyman. I work alone and out of my home. Around where I live and work, I don't have to have a license to do most of the things that I do for people.

The laws concerning being a handyman may be different for you from what they are around here. So, knowing your location as to where you will be wanting to work would be helpful to know.

Thanks!
