Commercial cleaning is a bit different than residential so I wanted a starting point, thanks.

Some more questions and points: Commercial is billed monthly.
Usually performed after hours, security is a concern.
Are you planning on being a full service, turn key company; carpet cleaning, hard floor care, windows, etc?
Pricing is predicated on several things; volume (overall sq ft and traffic), number of days per week service is provided, whether it is a Class A, B or C type building ('A' being top of the line), etc.
Client's specifications.
Competition.
Market.
Geographical location (Different areas across the country have different going rates, in a city or in the suburbs, etc)
Frequencies for service and periodical projects (hard floors, carpets, etc.)
I usually figure pricing several ways and then look at each to determine where I want to be competitively; by square foot for 'cleanable' areas, loaded hourly rate/s, knowing your local competition and where they usually come in with their pricing, etc.
Do you already have your equipment; scrubber/s, swing machine/s, vac/s, backpacs, brute barrels, carpet cleaning machine (walk behind), etc?
Do you know and understand the use of each chemical required to do the job properly and to ensure that a wrong chemical will not ruin a surface? Are you familiar with MSDS?
Do you presently have any contracts?
Will you be the 'rain maker" (Sales person)?
