Advertising for my website How?

I have been trying to get traffic to my website for so long now. I am about tired of trying. I know there is a better way to do this, but I just don't know anymore.

Can someone please help me out here? I really need to know the truth about how to get traffic to my website(s). And if you're going to tell me that I cannot do it for free, then you are wasting your breath because I already know it is possible. I know it's much harder without money, but still possible.

I am willing to pay for advertisements, but how do I do it accurately? I mean, I can advertise all I want and never get a single response if I don't do it right!

I would really love to know how and where I can find out how to advertise.

Also

Please don't reply telling me that I am wasting my time with my home-based business! I know it works because the person that got me into this is clearly making a profit from it. As to how he does it, I have no clue!

Thank you so much!

Paul

your email has been deleted for your protection Well it seems and I am sorry you already know what you don't want to here,

You need to submit your business on a regular basis to all of the major search engines to try and get it to come up to the top 10 of the searches. The higher the better. YOu can look into paying per click to your site on things like Google adds.

But to be honest if your friend is doing it, why has he not told you how he is ??

It's easy to advertise for free on the Internet and to promote your website! You just need to know the keywords to use as well as the Internet sites where you can advertise for free that get the best results when people do searches for things on the Internet. It takes time to set up the ads and/or the websites initially, but you will get results if you use the right words.

One thing that is important is to remember is that people aren't going to be looking for you by your name or even the name of your business, but will be looking for the service or products that you will be providing in the location where it is most easy for them to procure them.

I have a number of small businesses that I run. Most of the business that I get is from the free ads that I have placed on the Internet as well as words that I have placed in my websites.

Some of the best places to advertise for free for your website or business are listed on the following links.

craigslist: san francisco bay area classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

(To use Craigslist, you just find and post on the one that is near you.)
