Wrong lead ?

My 14.2 show pony keeps taking the wrong lead in the wright rein but never in the left . Its really confusing me & I've got big comprtitions coming up ! please help !

Need to work him more on that side. Most horses have a dominate side so you have to help him a little

your horse is pretty much left handed so to speak what you need to do is work on the right rein by getting a nice trot going, have your out side leg behind the girth and you inside leg on the girth and give a good strong clear aid to canter it also helps if ask them on a corner and have there head flexed to the inside just a little bit. if your pony goes onto the wrong leg pull him/her up strait away get him/her back to a nice trot then ask again it will take time but when your pony does go on the write leg keep him/her cantering and really reward him/her.
