WWII Jacket

I recently inherited my grandfather's WWII army jacket and I have no idea what one of the arm patches is for. On the left sleeve there is a patch for the 1st Calvary Division. The one I am questioning is on the right sleeve. Stitched on the patch is the word "STABUENO" and the image is blue, white, and red and looks like a "bomb trail with an explosion." If anyone can help with this it would be great!

It is probably the symbol from his regiment or squadron. Do you know who he severed with? Cause then you can just google the name and you'll find it.

The Virginia War Museum is a great resource Welcome to the Virginia War Museum

I would try calling them. I have heard the director on our local radio several times and he is a walking encyclopedia of WWII. If someone there doesn't know, I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.
