Spartans were no more or no less homesexual than any other group of male "warriors". Some were and some were not and it was not an issue, in fact homosexuality was widely practiced and not condemned.

From my studies there were known homosexual activities going on but to say they all were is not true. Greece during those times was open to sexual activities with men and women. In fact the word lesbian comes from the Ilse of Lesbos which is located off of the coast of Greece.
