it keeps saying no adress was found when i try to look up the history of my house,what should i do?

Well you could go to your town office or library and see if they have any information about where you live.

This may just solve your problem. Since 911 there have been different areas that have been "renumbered" making it easier for the police and fire dept to locate the address. You didn't say where you were looking for your home's address. Try the County Auditor's office for one. You can call them up and they will give you the info you need.

several things, first of all, most house address don't have any history of that house on line, In fact many houses have little or no history about them anyway.

You can go down to the recorders office and find out who owned the property before, and also remember many house addresses were different some years ago, 911 address, street names changed, Rual route addresses changed to street names and more.

Often you will need to go though years and years of local news papers, talk to elderly i the area about thie histroy and more
