WW2 and the Job Market?

Was World War 2 good for the job market (then) or bad? Pro's and Con's? Why and why not? any kind of help would be great!

Unemployment dropped to almost nothing beacuse there were more jobs than qualified poeple to do them. many women went to work in factories to do jobs that did not exist before the war such as armorment and air craft construction. What grade are you and what is the assignment?
