What are some historical events and figures in Hinduism?

let me clarify that Hinduism doesn't have a particular historical figure!

the Hindus have gods and goddess : who some believe are mythological in character but amazing is the fact that even till day the people in India , celebrate the birthdays , marriage anniversaries of these figures:
