    how do you do multiplying out brackets can sum1 do me hwk

    a) 3(a+2b+5)+2a+b+3

    All you do is apply the multiplication acting on the bracket to each element in the bracket. So 2(a+2b) is 2a+4b.

    You should be able to do your work now. If you still don't understand then let me know.
