motivation for school studies and memorising better?

hey,

i go in my first year of highschool but i just don't have any motivation to do my best that i can. how do i find that motivation? i have fantastic friends at my school and i'd love to pass my exams soon but i just can't find the motivation to study and how do i learn to focus and concentrate better on the studies so i can remember it better?? any advice there? thanks.

WEll, I do believe that the average concentration time for humans is 20 mins. So, every twenty mins get up and do something like stretch or go throw something away, that might help with you having trouble concentrating. But, If your teachers do not want you to be walking around the classroom you will have to find a diffrent way to distract yourself for a couple of minutes (no more than 2)!
To help you study, invite your friends over for some study time. Order a pizza, get some soda's and break out the books. Doing it with your friends is a lot more fun than by yourself.
