Equations and graphs

Write an equation of the line for each of the following conditions.

a) a vertical line passing through the point (-2,9)


b) perpendicular to y = 2x, through point (-1,3)


Graph the function y = - |x| + 2, by translating y = |x|

b)y=(-1/2)x+3.5
c)Just gragh, if you have a Casio graphic calculator you can type down absolute value.

wow. chimei89, way to do someone's homework for them. you could at least go back and explain how you arrived at your answers. and i dont think that "use a graphing calculator" is a very good answer. better to explain how to translate the graph of y=|x| into y=-|x|+2
