| | | Speech a drag Hi,
I need some information about Christina Aguilera. You see, i'm doing a speech about her and i would greatly appreciate it if you helped out.
This is what my speech sounds like now-
Good afternoon, my name is (name here). A hero is a person who is willing to help other people or helps others make their lives better, a person who does good deeds that is more than expected and a person who inspires others. A hero doesn’t have to be a person who has super or magic powers. This is why I chose Christina Aguilera to be my hero. Christina Aguilera is a singer who has written many famous songs since she started at a young age. During that time she has made songs that are familiar to many of us today. These songs include Hurt, Ain’t no other man, Mercy on me, Can’t hold us down, Genie in a bottle, fighter, Candy man, Dirty, beautiful, voice within, Reflection, Lady Marmalade and many more. I believe that she is a hero because she put up with abuse at home and decided to live a good life by choosing good things for herself. Christina dedicated ‘Oh Mother’ from her new album ‘Back to basics’ to her and her mother. In this song Christina sings about the heartache and sufferings that her and her mother got by there father and husband, Jim.
Please tell me if it sounds alright or what i should include! Thanx

| I think maybe you should shorten that list of songs in the middle. Keep going you're doing really well |

| You might want to double-check which of those songs she actually wrote. I know Lady Marmalade for one is just a cover. |

| How about playing on a boom box a few bits of her music? What about visual aids? Ever hear of Flat Stanley? How about Flat Christina Aguilera? (Hand out a mini flat Christina for each person?) Can you get the audience involved somehow? even just clapping along with bouncy song bits? Dress up as Christina. Walk around the room as you give the speech. Touch a person's shoulder (??) and say, "Did you know Christina was challenged by this?" and tell about it, and then go to another person and look him/her in the eyes and say, "I'll bet you never heard about this part of her life..." and tell about it. Be sure to give the speech some energy. Otherwise, your speech will be just as boring as everyone else's.
(Correction: "In this song Christina sings about the heartache and sufferings that she and her mother got by their father and husband, Jim." [in case you have to turn in a written report too]) |

Yeah, I think you might have missed the point there, she certainly performed the song, she just didn't write it, it was a song from the 70's!
Also, she didn't write Beautiful, Genie in a bottle or Reflection.
You might want to change it to say C.A. performed many songs including ...
Oh, and Dirrty has two 'Rs' Lol! |
