    Changing Schools
I Will Be Changing Schools Next Year To A Catholic School, I Am Now Currently In A Public School. I Am Not Catholic But I Go To A Christan Church Group Sometimes.

My Mum Isn't Very Happy About The Schools Since I Have Had 6 S.O.S.E Teachers This Year, And Around 3 English Teachers, The School Also Gets A Lot Of Fights And Every Year The Batch Of Grade 8s Are Getting Worse.

I've Never Moved Schools Before Apart From When I Went From Primary To High School (I'm In Grade 9 At The Moment). I'm Very Shy And I Do Not Want To Go To A Different School, I've Told Mum I'm Not So Sure But She Won't Listen To Me.

I Don't Know Anyone There At All. It Was All right In Grade 8 Because Everyone In My Grade Was New, Now I Wil Be One Of The Few New Ones.

And I'm Afraid I'm Going To Lose My Friends That I Have Here.:(

I know what its like to switch schools! After my mom passed my dad decided to move us back to his home town, in ENGLAND! I had never left virginia let alone america and I went to a school with 32 in the high school!! It was so hard at first even though it wasent like moving to russia or somewhere like that! I almost flunked history because I had never heard any of it ! But I eventually made friends and now I'm not the new american kid anymore I'm just me!

It will be hard at first because cathlioc is not your religion but you will make friends and in the long run since there is better disaplin you will be more ready for real life after high school!
    Best of Luck!

It's hard to give you a more definitive answer without being personally acquainted with your situation. However, there are bad schools in this world and you may be unfortunate enough to be attending one. If that's the case then this move may be in your best interests. I would suggest that your parents thoroughly investigate this prospective new school before making their final decision as you could just be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. But a new school can mean new opportunities. You'll still have your friends from the old school and, at the same time, have the chance to make a whole new set of friends.
