Wiring thermostat 5 wire

Asked Jan 3, 2010, 07:33 AM — 1 Answer
I have a gas furnace, electric a/c. When replacing thermostat with Hunter 44110, must have misunderstood directions. AC works fine, but nothing happens when switching over to heat and it is freezing out! Wired Green to G, Red to RC, Blue to RH, Yellow to why and White to W. Removed the jump wire between RC and RH. Please tell me what is wrong and what I need to do to get heat to work?

try temporary removal of the blue wire and replace the jumper between RH-RC. The blue is probably for the common connection but try the other way I mentioned first.
