my wiring

i have a 5-wire unit. I changed my totaline p374-0200 thermostat to another and when in process, lost the wire labels. now my a/c does not kick on, but when I use "cool", it turns on the heat.

What is the proper wiring diagram for a 5-wire thermostat using a chas roberts totaline p374-0200?

Most thermostats and heating systems all use the same system except heat pumps. Check the section of sticky at the top of the forum on thermostat wires. No sense of the rest of us repeating what a top pro put together. Post back if you need help on any details or yours doesn't match the sticky.
