    When you turn on the central ac heater the ac turns on the compressor comes on
    When you turn the heat on a central ac the ac comes on instead it says heat on the control panel but the ac comes on.

    Do you know if you have a heat pump or not. If you could give some info about your AC and your furnace it would help./

    a/c system is a regular air/heat with the electric heater coils on top and a/c evaporator below.
