    When heat pump runs and doesn\'t cut off after desired temperature is reached
    Heat pump doesn't cut off when reaching the desired temperature.. just keeps running, new thermostat put on last year and new compressor,, runs solid at 72 but cuts off at 70... can't figure out the problem

    I have a heat pump also. I have no idea what the problem is, but I do suggest calling the person who did the latest installation repair work. Good luck.
