My variable spped fan motor rocks back and foward for 2 - 3 minutes before starts turning, so my coil freezes.
I clean the coil by a professional but still frezzes new fiberglas filter.
Downloaded book by GE on variable sppeed motor diagnostics, and it tell you in bolt letters if the motor rocks back and foward NOT REPLACE THE MOTOR,but 2 minutes is too much so where is the problem?
All dip switches are in the original position, and this Trane has a GE motor.

Original settings may be wrong, Try turning off breaker to AC , wait 10? seconds turn back on, see if it corrects problem, may be confused. Did it work before this with current switch settings?

yes I reset the breaker and it start to run again , it worked before normally, one note saw sparks coming out from inside o behind the breaker cut no determing from where, now the breker is in orderfrom a local shop.
Can a noisy or foulty breker not provide clean AC to the electronics and this is the problem?
I messure 238 volts at the breaker output .

238 is OK, arcing can get electronics confused, maybe pull breaker and look at where it plugs onto, and breaker connections, not so much the wires, but where it plugs onto buss. Also, installing a new breaker on a bad buss will cause the new breaker to fail sooner than good connection.

I believe what you have is a DC voltage variable speed board controlled setup now that I see the pictures. You will probably spend more than 500.00 to 600.00 on parts. There is a expensive electronic tool that is made just to check/test those items.
It is a proven fact that you will not save energy with that setup because when it goes bad you will spend more than you saved for new parts.

I suggest calling a pro HVAC company that has the proper tools/meters etc to fix it correctly and at the minimum of expense for parts.

Do the smart thing. Rip out all blower controls and motor.

Replace with a convential 3 or 4 speed motor and wire it up.

Been there done that and it is a bunch cheaper.

Not a good thing when a DC drive motor starts to bump. The good thing is just the motor module can be replaced with out replacing the motor. The motor module has a factory program in it for your size system, some times it looses its program for that size system(cfm out put). you can full it by going to a larger size setting on the control board. Say if you have a 3 ton set it up for a 3 1/2 ton and it may work fine. Do not remove wire plugs from motor with power on it is DC drive and it will hurt you.
