Trane XL1100 heat

I have a Trane XL1100. The heat will only work when turned off at thermostat and turned back on. Once it reaches set temp it will shut off. It will not come back on again until turned off at thermostat again. Any ideas?

What kind of thermostat do you have? I would check the batteries in the thermostat.
