    How do I install the Totaline P474-1100REC with only a 2 wire system?

    Some thermostats may need a third wire to provide a common to power the thermostat. Otherwise, identify the wire that runs directly to the transformer and connect it to the R or RH terminal. Connect the other that runs to the gas valve to the W terminal.
