    Flame turns off...
    My heater will start but the flame will go out after a couple minutes. The fan, however, will continue to run afterwards. I just changed the thermostat to see if that was the problem and it works fine. Is this a problem with the flame sensor? I just want to make sure before I buy a new one.

    The heater is a Carrier Weathermaker 8000.

    You just need to clean the sensor, if it has one, with aluminum foil all crumpled up. See if that helps. Could be several other things, overheating, or if its 90% efficient a plugged drain or trap

    I have a concord furnace that works until it reach the thermostat temp but it will not come back on. Is this the draft moter? Because it is hot to the touch. Can this be due to a bad sensor?
