A vague question only gets vague answers. If you can give the make and model # of your system, some one can help you. All systems wire deferent. If you had a fault code of rollout limit you have more than a mis-wired problem.

It's a superflue hotwater tank with a Robert shaw gas valve. I had a code showing flammable gas present, it would light for a couple of second and then go out. I removed and un hooked the wires on the sensor by the air intake. Now I am getting a code of FVD interface failure/miswiring. Is there a 1 hour lockout period to wait for a reset? If I can get it to fire again I have to deal with the flammable Vapours code. Dirty ignition rod?

The flammable gas sensor is considered a wear item, once the detect, they should be replaced.

Also, unhooking wires will only complicate the problem. Reconnect the other wires and start with the senser that was the original problem.

Good info you gave about your system. Make sure your burner is clean along with a clean
    Flame sensor.
