    Programmable thermostat
I have a programmable thermostat , but the digital readout says 24.5 degrees all the time. The readout does not change when the temp in the house does. Any suggestions?

What brand of thermostat? Do you still have the manuals? Many stats have a reset botton under the cover. Or you can remove power from the stat' (batteries and/or A/C from furnace) for 10 minutes to reset it.

Click the hold button on the thermostat and see if you can move the desired temp up or down by pressing the up and down arrows
