    Outside air unit making loud noise
    My Heil air conditioner is making a very loud noise, but still cooling house. Of course I have turned it off. Anyone have this problem before?:

    That outside noise could be a loose or defective fan blade since that is about the only thing that will get loud. If it is the compressor your unit making a loud noise it will not work much longer. Call for local on site service unless you know how to fix it.
