It is very hard to advise on an oil furnace. Allot of specialty tools are needed. In my experience there are allot of service men who have no business working on them.

Call a qualified service person. Could be a weak ignition transformer, electrodes, plugged oil filter etc.

If you are going to get it going over the weekend, you are going to figure out the start up sequence and what isn't happening. It may or may not be something you can fix. Is the oil flowing? If not, why not? Are you getting ignition? If not, why not? Does the blower come on, etc.?
