I'm hoping some one can help. I've been without heat for a week. I have a nordyne g3ra096c-16 furnace. The problem was the ignitor would glow but the gas valve wouldn't open. I tried to trouble shot it myself but had to call a technician. He came and said it was the circuit board and would cost $935 to fix. He advised to replace the system. I was just laid off and my husband is ill. We simply can't afford it now. I've been working on it all day. After a lot of reading and googling I have got the gas to come on, the burners light, they heat he chamber for a while, then the blower motor clicks and starts to come on then suddenly everything shuts off and the inducer motor goes click click click click (several times ) then it too shuts down. Not sure if I have the wiring right. Any advise would be helpful.
