No cool and heat air through vent
    Hi,

A technician came by to fix my heat yesterday. All of sudden there was smoke coming up the vents. I don't know what he did but the heat came on and the a/c worked too. Then last night
There was no heat air through the vent. This morning I turn
On the a/c and there is no cool air through the vent.

The fan and compressor work from the outside unit.

    What could be the problem?

    Thanks,
    Megan

Sounds like he did not fix it correctly the first time. You paid him make him come back and fix it correctly.

Is the blower operating blowing air through the house?
The heat and A/C are not supposed to be on at the same time!
From your description almost anything could be wrong.
I would be concerned about the smoke!!

There is no blowing air through the house.
I turn the heat on last night but it wasn't blowing heat air.
Then this morning I tried the a/c if it is blowing air and
Found out it didn't have blowing air.

I turned off the heat before I turn on the a/c.

I called him and he said the blower motor might be the problem.
He said he will pick up the motor and come by Monday afternoon.

How much do you think a blower would cost?

Do you think he wired it wrong that's why the smokes came up the vents?

    Thanks,
    Megan

Sounds like it might be the blower motor or the blower motor relay eyc.

No idea on price. Different areas of the country pay more or less for parts etc.
