    NO AC after replacing battery in thermostat
    I have a Honeywell Thermostat - it was blinking "low battery", I changed the batteries, now the AC will not come on - it just blinks "Cool On" nothing is happening.

    Turn off the breakers, to furnace and a/c unit for a few minutes,, then back on

    Was it working OK before you changed the batteries?

    Yes, it was working - I did turn off/on the breakers - it is working now... :) thanks.

    If this problem crops up again, check the pins and contact strips between the thermostat and sub-base for oxidation.

    Still not working after changing batteries. Same scenario. Now what? Its 86 in my house :(
