New Thermostat

I have replaced a Honeywell thermostat with a Hunter Model 44155C Programmable thermostat. I feel that I have connected it correctly but it still will not come on. Some one told me to check the regulator. Could someone please give me some input?

I opened it up and nothing looks, smells burnt. Everything looks good

did you check your breakers and all, if the furnace does not have power the tstat will not work
