    Maple Chase thermostat
I am hoping someone can answer my question. I have a digital maple chase thermostat and have it set to auto cool at 74 degrees. I noticed when it does not get over 74 and the air does not kick on for a few hours (more like 5 hours) that it resets itself to 78. Does anyone know why it does this?

Is the program scheduled for that time 78? You have to program the stat twice, once for cooling and again for heat.

I didn't think about that. It is something the previous owers might have set up. Well, it didn't do it last night though. I set the temp to 73 instead of 74 and when I woke up this morning it was still at 73. I'm assuming there is a way I can check to see if I have anything programmed on it. I know when I open the cover there are directions so I will check it out tonight and see.
    Thank you for helping me.

The thermostat is not programmed and has been working fine the past couple of days. I tried googling the company and could not find their website. It kept giving me another manufacturer so I am assuming the company was bought out.
