    Intermittent pilot will not spark?
Hello! It got cold overnight in the northeast and I am having an issue. I have a 20 yr old honeywell S860D intermittent pilot. I have never had problems with it and have tried most of the troubleshooting basics. Number 1, I am not sure if there is gas flow from the gas valve. I smell it faintly, but still not sure. I do not know if the spark ignitor is bad. I removed the bracket with the orifice and thermocouple, but everything looks in tact. The air conditioner works fine, so I know that the thermostat is OK. I am unsure of the thermocouple, basically it could be anything according to what I have read. I know I should call a professional, but I would really like to understand this better. Please help! More info and pics if necessary.
