    Hot surface igniter
I have an Evcon model DGAT070BDC mobile home furnace. The burner will not light. Suspect igniter. How can I tell if it is bad and what is the proper procedure to replace it.

Look for a crack in the ignitor.

Remove and replace BUT do not touch the ignitor area only the base. Oils and debris on your fingers will damage the ignitor.
