    Honeywell rth230b thermostat
    I am trying to install a honeywell thermostat model # rth230b, I have 5 wires from my old unit... labeled r,g,y1,w1,w2. I don't know how to wire up the w1-w2. Do I put them both on the w peg, or what ? Please help.

    If you have 2 stage heat the thermostat will not work. A heat pump is 2 stage. So if you have a heat pump the thermostat will not work.
