Honeywell RTH 7400 thermostat install

I should know better when I think the thought "How hard can it be?" I currently have a York thermostat that came with the original heat pump unit. I purchased a Honeywell 7400 programmable thermostat. I checked all the specs and it states it is compatible to my system.

The problem is when i go to label/identify the wires, my system has O G Y T R L C E W.

The new thermonstat does not have a "T"

I just want to know what to do with this "extra" wire.
